После прочтения известной трилогии я заинтересовалась творчеством Толкина, и взялась за труд всей жизни Толкина, а, затем, и за сказки, те самые. которые он написал для своих детей. И если история о песике, которого за шалости превратили в игрушечного и который отправился на поиски этого самого волшебника, была очень милой, то история о художнике уж очень попахивала скрытым смыслом о Чистилище, смерти и предназначении.
Больше всего мне понравились сказки о кузнеце, и о вышеупомянутом песике.
Сам песик отправляется и на луну и на дно океана, переживает множество приключений, встречает друзей и вновь хочет стать живым, а не игрушечным. И снова он становится причиной потрясений, и снова маг зол на него.
А история о кузнеце который благодаря ошибке стал всеобщим героем, это вообще восторг. и сказка о пекаре, знакомым с королем эльфов.
Советую данную книгу всем. Это очень хорошие сказки, которые явно понравятся и детям и взрослым.
Иллюстрации очень хорошие, черно-белые, но детальные. Мне понравилось.
