A fine collection of colour photographs from the 1950s and 1960s around the British Railways Southern Region. Along with the usual selection of Bulleids we can enjoy a wide range of Standards and Maunsell designs along with many of the surviving locomotives from the pre-Grouping companies. In addition, some of the fascinating specials are seen, which brought further engines somewhat alien to the Southern Region in the days of regular steam.
The author, as a real fan of Southern steam, has located some absolute classic views to ensure this volume will be a real favourite.
