The 14 papers in this volume include: illumination and reflection models; sampling - filtering, anti-aliasing; visibility algorithms; Monte Carlo and finite element techniques; numerical methods and analysis; colour perception - the human visual system in the loop; texture - models, analysis and synthesis; and systems and software architecture for rendering. "Eurographics" is a series of workshops, an international forum where researchers convene to exchange knowledge and experience related to the theme of creating realistic computer animation based on the simulation of physical and biological phenomena.
