- Chris Carley, the author, is in direct contact with mental health organizations, churches, news stations, Stars and Stripes military newspaper and men’s health magazines to promote his book. He is also seeking endorsements from other authors, well-known male athletes and well-known Christian leaders through his direct connections.
- The marketing team will be scheduling book signings throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth region and will be targeting bookstores in Los Angeles, CA and Charlotte, NC, where Chris has extensive family interested in promoting the book in their own communities.
- Copies will be distributed to pastors of several major churches and will be scheduling several speaking engagements and classes, in person and virtually, for church men’s and couple’s groups in Texas and across the country.
- A website will be live by February, 2021. Additionally, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn as social media platforms will be used for promoting the book.
- Mr. Carley has created a brief video about his journey and is posting that video and other announcements of the upcoming book release. Another informal author video will be produced and posted prior to release of the book. Chris will also be producing a book trailer for release prior to book release.
- Beginning with the publication of the book in April, 2021, a campaign of paid advertisements will begin in publications that reach the target audience for the book. Tentative plans include ads in Publisher’s Weekly, Booklist, The New York Times Book Review and Bookpage, Additionally, the book will be advertised on Goodreads.
- An extensive public speaking tour of general and Christian writer’s conferences will be scheduled. Mr. Carley will be using these platforms as well as men’s health, mental health and other trade conferences as a platform to sell his book.
