Вторая часть трилогии про Натана Берна под названием "Half wild" как по-мне более динамичная, более сюжетная, чем первая. В этой части главный герой получил свой дар от отца, правда остался совсем один: отец, друзья, любимая, все пропали: кто куда... С чего начнет свои поиски главный герой? с кем познакомится? Да, тут у нас будет и приключения,и любовный треугольник, всего в этой книге вдоволь! Автор умеет описать и мир, и героев, книга точно не даст заскучать. И как по-мне серия хоть и позиционирует себя как подростковая, но такой вовсе не является! Мне (уже далеко не подростку) было очень интересно ее читать! Да, в книге есть ЛГБТ тематика, поэтому, кому такое не травится, тому наверное мимо... Описания не откровенные, но есть... Финалочка в истории просто огонь! Такого просто не ожидаешь! Сразу хочется бежать за следующей (финальной) частью!!! История определенно стоит внимания! Я начала год с этой истории и не пожалела, она точно станет моей любимой! Для поклонников наверняка стоит приобрести ее в оригинале!

As an admirer of the young-adult literature segment, I couldn't pass by the famous trilogy of the 'Half code' trilogy written by a talented author and a former accountant Sally Green. Due to existing opportunity, I decided to purchase the volumes in the following state: "Тот, кто убьет" ("Издательство "Э"), "Half Wild" ("Penguin books"), "Напiв загублений" ("Видавництво старого лева"). And here are my conclusion - the last one from the list is the best (I mean publishing quality). The Russian variant of the second volume is a censored copy, by the way. It lacks a fragment! The Russian publishing house couldn't stand a kiss between two male characters (Part four: The bunker diaries. Chapter 'kissing'). So, I would recommend you to buy the English original (as I did) or try the Ukrainian version (it's the best execution). Frankly speaking, each volume has its advantages and disadvantages. I would prefer the English variant but gathering collection in hardcover seems a much better idea to me. But let's move to the plot. 'Half wild' won't disappoint you. Compared to the 'Half bad' it even could be called more interesting. Nathan is destined to meet new friends and foes. Trying not to spoil the content, I won't be specific. Nathan's meetings with his family members are quite exciting events to observe. The rescue of Annalise leads to unexpected consequences. Who are Van and Nesbitt? What are their reasons to help Nathan? How does Gabriel look like while being in Black Witch condition? Will Nathan succeed in trying to get back Gabriel's natural form? So many questions will be answered and new questions will appear. This book is worth reading. Among many present young-adult stories, this trilogy I'd call the outstanding work. It's not a masterpiece. But it's an exciting reading indeed.
