This is a book about faith, promises kept, promises broken and the journey of a man raised in Appalachia who gave up his life and all his possessions in America to travel across Russia helping people and sharing the Love of God in some of the coldest and most remote places on the face of this earth. It is the story of what happens when an individual risks everything to keep a promise he made to God and what happened when he did. Keeping a promise that goes against all “logic” and “common sense” produced an unexpected result.
