Die Fassade ist die Schauseite eines Gebäudes, sie verleiht dem Haus seinen Ausdruck. Oda Pälmkes Bildersammlung zeigt, dass die ausdrucksvollsten Seiten von Häusern nicht immer die sind, die ursprünglich als Fassaden entworfen wurden. Scheinbar unspektakuläre Wände offenbaren große Anmut und auch temporäre Modifikationen eröffnen Qualitäten, die besser nicht entworfen werden könnten.
