In this part of our story, Michael Tillington and
Percival receive confirmation of something which in truth both had known for
some time, and which will profoundly affect the future of both of them, in very
different ways. Meanwhile Percival revisits the place where he had recently
been left unconscious by the still mysterious cult, the better to try to come
to terms with his ordeal. Victoria has ever sought reconciliation with her lover,
Rebecca, but now a new person enters the arena of her romantic life, and she
meets someone in whose very existence she cannot at first believe, although
with all of her soul she wishes so much to believe him. Quentin’s trip to
Africa yields results which he could only have imagined, but where is Tristan,
and will his unexplained disappearance cast a shadow over the wedding of
Tarquin and Adimu? Tara is set fair to continue with her singing career but
must now do so without the one person who was the reason for it all, and so
must ask herself whether she will continue at all. Meanwhile a young guitar
player receives news which is beyond his wildest dreams, but he must now awaken
to a new reality. Sharon is beset with murderous thoughts, but first she must find
and visit a place which may or may not exist, and meet someone who may live
only in ancient legend, and Megan begins to wonder whether after all, she has
got everything wrong. Charlotte receives a visit from someone she had thought
was long dead, as she continues her search for the truth in all that has
happened, and Sabina is forced to reveal her own truth to her so beloved son,
and it is a truth which will change his young life, forever.
