The Textbook for Moment mal! has few exercises. It is however loaded with "Aufgaben", i.e. critical thinking tasks. The practice exercises, necessary for cementing new material into our store of learned knowledge, are found in the accompanying workbook. It's recommended that each student have his or her own copy of the workbook, in which to practice and take notes. Also included are learning strategies, introduced where they are most relevant, and an concentrated reference grammar. The final chapter is a sample Zertifikat Deutsch test with hints on test taking geared specifically to this important international test.
