The second book in the mischievous, laugh-out loud and charming ADVENTURES OF A POSTMOUSE series from a beloved and bestselling illustrator.
Perfect for Easter reading!
It's the day of the annual Fastest Feathers race in Little Ditch, but Marty Moose can’t stop to join in the fun – he’s got a very important parcel to deliver. The prize is a beautiful shining golden egg, and it's got to reach the finish line before the contestants do!
But that’s not the only twist in the tail: Marty and Nibbles have to contend with ferret bandits who want the prize for themselves, and a pair of cheating ducks in a terrible case of fowl play.
"Claire Powell builds this highly engaging story for 6+ year olds through brisk set pieces, chase scenes and neatly introduced contestants, keeping the pace fast. Lots of engaging illustrations make this an ideal first chapter book series for newly independent readers in Year 2 and above. Highly recommend." - School Reading List

The illustrations once again are amazing! I really love the style. The new critters were perfectly designed, I love the designs of the villains. Oh, and I love that we got the stats of the contestants at their introductions, perfect!
All in all, I had oodles of fun with this one, it made me laugh, it made me giggle, it made me cheer for Marty. It was terrific! I would highly recommend it to all.

The illustrations add to the action and will support younger readers to follow the plot.
A great adventure tale for younger readers.
