Gideon Defoe was born in 1975 and lives in London. He is also the author of The Pirates! In An Adventure with Scientists, The Pirates! In An Adventure with Whaling, and The Pirates! In An Adventure with Communists. You could be forgiven for thinking he is a bit of a one-trick pony.
