All in all, I can highly recommend this book as a useful revision aid. It presents the content pared down to the minimum but is still comprehensive. Used in revision it would be a great help and gives the opportunity to apply the knowledge in exam type questions and provides exam tips.

A comprehensive and coherent guide to covering the specification of the second year of A Level. Clear advice for how to apply knowledge to exam-style scenarios. The book is helpfully divided into assessment objectives allowing students to assess their understanding as well as their ability to analyse the Paper 3 topics.

I particularly liked that each topic is clearly divided into theory and research evidence (as well as the examples of application). In my experience, students' major concerns are learning the named research evidence and how it can be applied to the theory. This revision guide provides this in a way that is clear and practical and students can apply it directly to exam questions.
