This publication is a special edition of the Key Statistics and Trends in International Trade series. It is structured into three parts. The first part presents an overview of Africa in the world economy as well as intra-African trade. The second part briefly summarizes the history of regional economic commissions of the African Union. The last part provides illustrative statistics on Africa's trade in goods and services during the last decade.
