This textbook contains Hawaiian and Pacific Island Cultural content along with the traditional college and career success topics. It is based on the premise that students are more successful when they take pride in their culture. While the textbook is designed for Native students, all students who live in Hawai'i and the Pacific Islands can benefit from increasing knowledge and appreciation of the culture of the people where they live.
