Written and drawn by Charles M. Schulz, widely regarded as one of the most influential cartoonists of all time, Schulz was the winner of many awards and accolades in his life including: The Congressional Gold medal. Peanuts franchise spawned a highly successful TV show, a series of movies and a musical stage play. In 2013, Peanuts was voted 4th Greatest TV Cartoon of All Time.
