Victor meets a representative of an alien civilisation by chance - a fakar named Bar. A strong friendship is forged between them. Returning to his planet, Bar uses an ordinary TV remote control to make a powerful psi field generator for Victor, which allows the hero of the story to travel to other worlds. Each journey lasts no more than five minutes in real, earthly time. But THERE, this time stretches for days, weeks, and even months.
