Herzlich willkommen follows Zimmer frei in our two-level course for German in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism fields. Zimmer frei starts at beginner level and concentrates on language necessary for the hotel trade. Herzlich willkommen builds upon that vocabulary and carries the training into restaurant and general tourism, specifically information-giving about activities and attractions available in an area. Users are well-prepared to converse with German-speaking tourists in their homeland, or to work in a German-speaking tourist area. It's language training with a practical goal. For those wishing to use it in a classroom situation, it assumes a base knowledge of 100 class hours of German. The program itself is designed for 100-120 classroom hours.
