"A Grand Day Out" is an English language teaching adaptation of the animated film by the Oscar-winning creator of "The Wrong Trousers" and "A Close Shave" and is aimed at beginner level learners.

In this adventure Wallace and Gromit build a spaceship and go to the Moon. Here they have a close encounter with a rather strange moon machine!

The video will have a special appeal for young learners, but can be used with all ages.

"A Grand Day Out" is accompanied by a Student’s Book offering full exploitation of the video, language practice and help with vocabulary. There is also a Teacher’s Book containing guidance on using the video in the classroom and an answer key.
