The textbook is prepared in accordance with the new educational programme. Structural components favour the formation of key and subject competences. The proposed methodology is aimed at the realisation of conceptual lines of the educational course, development of critical thinking, creative abilities, chronological and cartographic skills, as well as skills to work with historical sources.
