Fish look for deeper water, and people look for better. That is why the characters of the story "Victoria Regia", unable to survive in their native Verkhovyna land, went to distant Brazil to earn money and return home as wealthy people. But most of them will not return to their native land, dying in a foreign land: either in the ocean waters, or in the river from piranhas, or from the bites of fierce vipers... Not all of them will reach that cherished Brazil, the place of their slave labour.
