The peculiarity of the new edition is that it will bring to the readers' circles a book that accumulates the sailing and writing experience of Anton Sanchenko, a seasoned sailor and a leading mariner of contemporary Ukrainian literature. While in "Wedding with Europe" the author used his family's legends of relationships with the Black Sea and the ship's professions, in "Essays on Bursa" and "Barcaroles" the sea is the background of the sailor's life, and the longing for the earthly solid, and fun boat races, and dramatic competitions of people with ice, and commercial tours for citrus. The writer combined the times of two centuries - the past and the present - so that we could feel their interdependence in the plots of his prose.
