The textbook is compiled in accordance with the current programme for general secondary education institutions «Ukrainian Literature. 10—11 grades (standard level)». The textbook material is organised into sections that correspond to the programme. The sections contain theoretical material, literary works or excerpts from them, questions and tasks grouped by headings and levels of difficulty.
