"It all starts with a bet between a badger and a fox, in which the winner is supposed to get a monk's temple for his lair. But the fox falls in love with the monk, and when she later learns that a nobleman wishes him harm, she goes to the Land of Dreams and makes a deal with Morpheus' Japanese counterpart to save the monk. You'll have to read the rest of the story, but I can tell you that this is one of Gaiman's most exquisite and expressive stories. Yoshitaka Amano's drawings are equally admirable."

Charles de Lint, Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction

"The illustrations reflect and deepen Gaiman's brilliant prose. Yoshitaka Amano's palette...resonates brilliantly with the story. A more artistic approach to comic book illustration is hardly possible."-Edward Bryant, Locus

"...strikes a remarkable balance, making the tale appeal to new readers and fans alike. For fans of The Sandman, Dream Hunt is a wonderful fresh take on familiar characters. For those who meet them for the first time, it's an opportunity to relive the magic of childhood fairy tales, but with an adult twist... It would be great if Titanic's theme of self-sacrifice was treated as honestly and without sentimentality."
