The Meditations of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius Antoninus is a collection of aphoristic thoughts and arguments by Roman Emperor and philosopher, Marcus Aurelius. Due to the exceptional position of Marcus Aurelius and his developed literary skill, this document, that allows (the most unique case in the history of the antique literature) to observe not so much personal life as personal intense work in achievement of the ancient stoic tradition, eventually, became one of the most read masterpieces of the world literature.
