"The Land of the Blue Flower" is the tale of Amor, a young orphaned king in the care of a wise old man who spirits him away from the gloomy city he was born in. When Amor ascends his throne he returns to his city, and mystifies its inhabitants by ordering them to plant and nurture the seeds of a magical blue flower.
