It took the most humiliating break-up to prove that my life is in serious need of a do-over. Cue resolutions that even I can't fail at:

2. Stop trying to lose weight.
3. Stop working so hard.
4. Stop trying to live up to unrealistic expectations.
5. Stop trying to please my mother.

Number five proves tricky, until I find the perfect solution to keep her out of my love life: an imaginary boyfriend. Or he was imaginary, until I blurted out my neighbour's name...

Nate-the bad boy next door-might be hot, but he's definitely not my boyfriend. Now as well as sticking to my resolutions, I also need to keep my interfering family away from the man who has no idea that we're fake dating. What could possibly go wrong?
