Playing happy families can be a deadly game.

Geoff Williams is a popular coach to the Conwy under-18s rugby team, being a former Wales player himself. He loves the attention from the lads’ mums, while his wife looks the other way. But when Geoff is found stabbed to death, after a bloody struggle, one family seems to have especially close ties.

Louie Ellroy is a promising player, hampered by a fiery temper; Zoe, his mum, enjoys flirting with the coach while on the touchlines even though her husband Neil has heard the rumours flying around. When their 21 year-old daughter Rhian vanishes on the day Geoff is murdered, it adds one more suspect to the household’s list. DI Ruth Hunter has a murder to solve and a missing woman to find…

A page-turning Welsh detective novel, perfect for fans of LJ Ross, Nel Lancaster and Michael Wood.
