The Certificate of Achievement is a new document that gives parents an idea of the progress of their children in the 1st grade. Since the New Ukrainian School does not use grading as a process of assigning points for students' academic achievements, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is proposing a new form of assessment of students' achievements - the Certificate of Achievement. This document allows teachers to assess the overall performance of children, and parents to understand how their children are adapting to the learning process and help them in their own way. In addition, the document provides for such interaction as the wishes of parents or persons in loco parentis regarding the educational process, thus improving the interaction between caring parents and the teacher.

The certificate contains all the sections and points on achievements recommended and proposed by the MES, in addition, it is made in a convenient A5 format of 100 g/m2 paper with a colourful design, has a book shape, which gives the certificate the appearance of a real student document. It is intended to facilitate reporting by primary school teachers - class teachers on pupils' progress.
