The poetry of Olena Teliha is the energy of life affirmation, optimism and inspiration. To be strong, to hide pain, to give preference to sonorous laughter - this is the prerogative of the lyrical heroine. You can always find reasons for joy, which is embodied in the metaphorical image of a cheerful windmill-boy. The poet's works are symbolic, characterised by a rich associative range and metaphor.
