This book was written on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the first Ukrainian colourists who came with their families from Galicia to Europe in 1892 to settle on free empty lands in Western Canada. And this book is written in the ordinary language spoken by our contemporary colourists, who called themselves Rusyns back then.
