One of the most famous and beloved works by readers, where the main characters are private detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr Watson. It has been filmed several times.

The Baskervilles have a creepy family legend that they pass down from generation to generation. This legend tells of a ghostly dog that haunts all the Baskervilles at night in the swamps of the Grimmauld Moor. Dr James Mortimer, a country doctor, turns to Sherlock Holmes for help. His friend, Baronet Sir Charles Baskerville, has died under mysterious circumstances near his family estate in Devonshire, England, near the Grimpen Moor. Everything pointed to a natural death, if not for the look of inhuman horror on the deceased's face.
