The name of Professor Volodymyr Kosyk is well known to Ukrainian scholars (books and articles in French were published under the pseudonym Borys Marchenko). The new edition tells the story of the life and work of the prominent Ukrainian figure Simon Petliura. It also covers political events in Ukraine in 1905-1920.
