What does it mean to be a saint? Is it when a halo lights up above you like a light bulb? And you walk around like that, and everyone looks back at you in awe. Or when you never, ever do anything wrong, and you don't even think about it? So sainthood is something extraordinary? No, everyone can be a saint.

The book “Sittings with the Saints” is about this very thing - what it is like to be a saint. There are 60 fascinating stories about famous saints. These stories are written in the first person, in clear language, so it seems as if you are talking to them personally at a friendly gathering. The most famous saints and blessed ones tell about themselves: from the Apostles Peter and Paul to Blessed Clement Sheptytsky, Mykola Charnetsky and Saints Mother Teresa and John Paul II.

This book can be read by a young reader independently. However, the readership of the book has a wide range - from 9 to 109 years old. So parents or grandparents will be happy to read it with their children. We advise you to read carefully, because there is a quiz about saints at the end!

“Sittings with the Saints” was created by Ukrainian authors especially for Ukrainian readers. And the talented illustrator Bohdana Davydiuk drew amazing pictures.

The lives of the saints in this format are the best fit for a gift on the occasion of the Solemn Holy Communion.
