The fifth edition of Pediatric Nephrology provides an up to date view of the recent advances in the mechanisms and management of renal disorders in children. The contents have been extensively revised since the last edition, with additional detail on subjects such as electrolyte and acid base disorders, chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy and neonatal renal problems. A completely new chapter discussing the prevention of kidney diseases has also been added.
