"The Madwoman" by Ivan Nechuy-Levytsky is a novel in which the author deals with the life of the intelligentsia. The story depicts the complex and confusing fate of the upper classes of the late nineteenth century. The author also wrote other works of similar themes, including the novels Clouds and Over the Black Sea.
