The publication includes selected works by the classic of Ukrainian literature Ivan Nechuy-Levytsky (real name - Levytsky, 1838-1918): one of the first works he wrote and published is the story "Two Muscovites", dedicated to peasant themes, and the social and everyday story "Over the Black Sea" about the struggle of the Ukrainian intelligentsia for national enlightenment.
