The Little Hunchback by Spyridon Cherkasenko is a story about kindness and sensitivity, about the ability to be yourself and not shy away from your flaws. Pavlyk has a sincere heart, but only one flaw prevents him from living a normal life: the hump on his back. The other boys often hurt him, but Pavlik's soft heart holds no grudges. He is a young dreamer who protects birds and loves to wander the steppe and tell fairy tales. The inner world is the main wealth of a person. This is what the story "The Little Hunchback" teaches.
