Each book in the series has a strong, identifiable phonics focus. The series follows the scope and sequence of phonics skills taught in the existing Macmillan English Explorers Phonics Workbooks. Through this series, children will be taught how to sound out and blend sounds to read words and to segment the sounds in the words in order to accurately spell them.
