The Day of St Nicholas, one of the most revered saints in Ukraine, is approaching on 19 December. He became famous for helping people and doing it unselfishly.

Traditionally, on the eve of the holiday, every child is waiting for a special guest who has a lot to do that night. What a joy it is to wake up in the morning and find a coveted gift under your pillow! This means that St Nicholas has not passed your home and has rewarded you for all your good deeds.

To make this happen, write a letter to St Nicholas. This letter should be honest and sincere: thank everyone who has done good for you, write who has received help from you.

We want your letter to be remembered by St Nicholas, because he will have to read many children's letters. So, take your pencils, markers, stickers and get to work to make it by 19 December. You can draw or cut out gift ideas from a magazine and paste them into your letter.

Before asking St Nicholas for something, think carefully about whether your behaviour was good and what gift you deserve. Perhaps you should ask for a gift for those who need it more."

P.S. Remember: only those who believe in miracles can make something truly fabulous and amazing happen!
