Our childhood, no matter what it was, from the distance of years, is always a fairy tale in our memories. We can see it in the works of Taras Shevchenko, Oleksandr Dovzhenko, and Ostap Vyshnia.... The author also visited his own. And the events took place in Hrailandia, a fairy-tale country between Kyrylivka, where Taras Shevchenko was born, and Chernecha Hill, where he is buried, or rather between the town of Hrai and Hulyai Village, near which, in turn, is located Macortet, where all kinds of evil spirits are found. In the fiction tied to a specific geographical area, which coincides with the author's growing up, autobiographical excursions into his long past, suddenly remembered, are used to convincingly and colourfully describe the course of contrived events... Hrailandia with the town of Hrai, Hulyai Village, and Macortet is a Ukrainian Disneyland on paper. Let's visit it, where a friendly smiling girl, Budyaska, is waiting for us all, a guide to a strange cluster of fairy tales... So let's go there as soon as possible!
