The second part of the textbook on the theory and practice of furniture design based on modern construction materials, accessories, mechanisms and methods of transformation provides information on the design of tables, chairs and armchairs, furniture for recreation and other products for various functional purposes.

 

The issues of strength, durability of furniture service, environmental friendliness and safety of furniture products are considered. A separate section covers the issue of interchangeability - a guarantee of the operational quality of furniture products. The construction materials that were not included in the first part of the textbook are briefly presented.
