Book 1. Zog

The book immerses the reader in a world where there is a special school for dragons. The main character, Zog the dragon, is one of the best students in this school. But he is also the biggest source of accidents among the students. He crashes into a tree while flying, or sets his own wing on fire. Luckily, a mysterious little girl always comes and heals bumps, burns and bruises, and she has to bandage the unlucky dragon's paws and bring down his fever. No matter what happens to Zog, she always comes to the rescue. But will she be able to help Zog with his biggest challenge yet: getting a gold star for his academic achievements?

A fascinating story about adventures at the dragon school is beautifully illustrated by Axel Scheffler. Bright and detailed pictures in combination with the text will bring joy to the youngest readers and their parents.

Book 2. Zog and the Flying Help

Zog the Dragon, Princess Goldilocks and Sir Galalot have taken to the skies! No lion cub or mermaid will be left unattended while the flying doctors are on duty. But Princess Goldilocks' unconventional career doesn't go well with the way her uncle, the king, sees her future. He believes that princesses should stay in their towers and embroider pillows all day, not fly around the kingdom and treat their subjects.

When the king's mysterious illness puzzles all the royal doctors, none other than Princess Goldilocks herself comes to the rescue! Not only does she heal the king, she also changes his mind about what it means to be a princess.

The heroes of the favourite children's story about Zogg the dragon are flying towards adventures again. In this story, the main message of the author Julia Donaldson, embedded in magical verses, is that if you have a talent for something and a great desire, then you must stand your ground and not give up on your dream. The wonderful text in the book is complemented by witty illustrations by Axel Scheffler.
