About book

This is an automatically translated description

All you know about Ireland, — is true, but…. But everything is wrong. «Share has given this island divine beauty and scorching grief. Its history is spiralled into a spiral, but there is no endless Day of the Baibak, stretched for a century: intervals-tragedy, intervals-tragedy, intervals-tragedy, intervals-tragedy. It is very similar to Ukraine» — — describes Ireland by the mandrillist and writer Maxim Bespalov.

While, even the Smaragdovy Island itself now exists in two forms at the same time. The real muri here divide the cities on the ground. A special person is appointed to handle the language, which no one speaks in everyday life. Here they remember the fights on the streets between Catholics and Protestants, supporters of independence and those who value the status quo, and the locals are still wary of anyone who decides to stay in Ireland for a long time. On the other hand, it's a place where you'll be offered nine different kinds of beer at the opera house, and the streets of Belfast boast that the Titanic was built here.

In his book Maxim will introduce you to both sides of the island. He will tell you about its tragic history and unimaginable reappearance, introduce you to the Irish people and take you on routes you won't find in travel guides.

Maksim Bespalov — mandrivnik and writer. For 10 years he was engaged in journalism, but left the work, because he realised that it was no longer satisfying. Since 2015 he has been working with Hakuna Matata Expeditions, organising author's tours to dozens of countries on different continents.

Has travelled to 70 countries around the world, some of which he described in his own books. Thus, in the book «The Way to the Edge of the World» he writes about the pilgrimage route St James' Road, and in the book «Ukrainian Spitsbergen» — about the history and present day of the Arctic archipelago.

Maksim first visited Ireland in 2013, after which he visited the island a dozen times. Even the pandemic caught him in an Irish pub. After returning home, Maksim wrote a book about Ireland — travelling to its pubs, skeletons and museums, a book of conversations with the most important people — from a member of the Council of Ireland, a book about the most important people — a book about the most important people in Ireland — a book about the most important people in the world — a book about the most important people in the world.mdash; from IRA member to keeper of the Irish language, a guide book to places and events not always found on a map or in a history book. A book that will make you want to go to Ireland.

10/10
