This book captures your attention from the first page because you read and believe the author, who has conducted more than 60,000 interviews over the years of his journalistic career. His interlocutors on the mega-popular Larry King Live talk show were Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Frank Sinatra, Arnold Schwarzenegger and other world celebrities. And in his book, the famous TV presenter sincerely, without pathos, talks to all of us, revealing the secrets of his own success and giving professional advice for all occasions: from family holidays and social events to mourning events.

The author is really sincere with his readers. Analysing typical mistakes, he calmly recalls his failures and suggests how to avoid them.

This book will be useful for those who want to talk easily and naturally with anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Quotes from the book:

Political Correctness
How we say something is just as important as what we say, because words reflect thoughts and attitudes. And this is true. If you still used the term "weaker sex", you would be perpetuating outdated ideas about women. And if you were to refer to someone as a jap, you wouldn't just be using a colloquialism: whether you like it or not, your listener would perceive it as a reference to the image of the Japanese as the "yellow menace" that was widespread during World War II.

Body Language
For me, body language is like spoken language. It is a natural part of dialogue and communication. When this language is relaxed, it becomes an extremely effective form of communication. When it's forced, it seems to be what it really is - a deception."

Listen
My first rule of communication is that you will never learn anything until you speak. Every morning I remind myself that if I want to learn a lot today, I'll have to listen."

Honesty
That morning in Miami Beach, I realised an important thing about what we say and how we say it, whether it's live or not: you have to be honest. You can never go wrong with this, whether you are hosting a programme or working in any other field that requires eloquence. Allow your listeners and viewers to share your experiences and feelings.

Enthusiasm
I think one of the reasons I've had some success in TV and radio is that my audience can see that I love what I do. You can't fake that. If you're really passionate about something, if you just radiate enthusiasm, your chances of success increase. I've seen this when talking to people in very different fields.
