From the publisher:

"History of Ukrainian Theatre in Galicia" is a collection of works by Stepan Charnetsky, a poet, musician, reviewer, director, and theatre historian. The book commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Galician professional theatre (29 March 1864) and the 70th anniversary of his death (1 October 1944). We believe that this publication will attract the attention of scholars, students, and theatre fans and will be used as a guide to the study of the history of Ukrainian theatre.
