A winter holiday in Australia is not a bad idea. Especially when an exciting journey in search of the Diamond Valley awaits. Well-known to readers from the previous instalments of the Archeo Chronicles, Anya and Bartek are going to visit their aunt Barbara Lawson in Australia. The journalist accidentally found a two-hundred-year-old map leading to a valley of huge diamonds. Its previous owner, Lord Arthur Cavendish, went mad and stopped his search. Now young antiquity hunters have a chance to find the lost treasures. Mary Jane, Jim and Martin Gardner from London will help them again.

But they are not the only ones interested in the mysterious valley. On the way, the children meet the undertaker-entrepreneur Larry Fish and the influential Mr T., who have their own plans for the gems. And these people are capable of doing anything to get what they want.

In The Archeo Chronicles, the young heroes will have to swim with sharks, lose control of a plane, survive a tropical monsoon, wander the jungle, meet spirits from Aboriginal legends, and much more. But ahead of them are real diamonds the size of a fist, and most importantly, loyal friends who will always share even the most dangerous journey.

The Diamond Valley Mystery is complemented by short informative inserts from which you will learn background information about historical figures and events of the past, as well as the flora and fauna of Australia.
