"Poetic Beads for Little Iryna" is a wonderful collection of poetry for children by Valentyna Khoruzha. The collection not only introduces kids to the world around them, the seasons, animals and insects, but also teaches and explains things and concepts that are familiar to adults but not yet clear to children. The characters of the poems are true friends and loyal companions who will not leave you in trouble and will always come to each other's aid. And even if you are small and timid, it does not mean that you will not have the strength and courage in your heart to be a real brave like a spider, or vice versa - a fake braggart cat until you are lured by a computer mouse. Valentyna Khoruzha's poems teach us to be polite and well-mannered children, to respect every blade of grass and to love everything around us, especially our native Motherland, no matter where we are. The collection is imbued with patriotic motifs, which is very important and essential for young Ukrainians today.
