Finding humour in the least prepossessing spot in the East End of London or respite by the restorative waters of Wapping...seeing people literally hold their breath in hope in Nicaragua or caught in a holy moment on the streets of Durban...facing the struggles of illness or enjoying the security of being loved and accepted as we are, these poignant, humorous and vividly illustrated meditations aim to bring us much-needed refreshment.Though primarily for personal use, "Holy Dreams to Feed the Soul" may be used in communal settings. It offers morning and evening prayers for all the days of the week, prayers that draw our attention to particular situations overseas, seasonal prayers and prayers for special occasions.
