What do our children come into this world with? What new impulses and challenges do they bring with them? Watching young people, you can feel what the future wants from us. By trying to force the younger generation into our system of values, we drown out the new things in them that want to enter the world and that go beyond our abilities.

Everything has two sides, the very title of the book, The Spirituality of Youth and Its Shadow, says it all. So do we want to help this new spirituality to emerge or, by drowning it out, do we want to let its shadow come to the fore, thereby depriving ourselves of a future? In this context, such widespread disorders as hyperactivity, attention deficit disorder, legasthenia, self-harming behaviour, etc. appear in a completely new light. The author proposes to train the view of this new thing, of these new abilities, to learn to open the door to this future.
