The author of this book, Fr Mitrat D. Seniv, lives and pastors in Australia. Responding to the need of the laity to pray with the Holy Scriptures every day, he has arranged the Gospel readings according to the Church year. In addition, he also presents the Gospel readings at matins and on the days of Lent when the Liturgy is not celebrated.
